Description:
Lyssandra is fairly tall, and slender.  She is obviously of commoner stock, but she manages to be pretty in a wiry sort of way.  Her hair is chest length, and she keeps it pulled back out of her face.

Typical Dress:
She normally can be found in either riding leathers, or at the very least, some form of dress cut for riding.  While proud of being able to own silk, and fond of wearing it when reason dictates, she doesn’t see the need to be in it always, as it’s not the most practical for exploring.

History:
Lyssa (as she is known to her friends and family) was born on a horse ranch near the village of Barlin in Kandor, north of the road running from Maradon to Chachin.  She idolized her older brother, and wanted to be like him in every way she could.  This mainly took the form of riding around after him when he was tending to the horses or patrolling their land for potential dangers.

And of dangers, there were many.  Besides thieves and bandits, the Beline family had to contend with the occasional Trolloc raid.  It was a combination of these assaults upon her home and the homes of others, as well as her underwhelming physical strength that made her dream of becoming an Aes Sedai.  She very much wanted to be able to make a difference, to protect those that needed protecting.

With this in mind, she snuck away from home when she was 17.  The road was fraught with perils, but she eventually made it to the White Tower, where she found that she did indeed have the talent.  Years of training proved that she also had the skill and dedication needed to attain the ring, and then the shawl.  She joined the Green Ajah upon being granted the rank of Aes Sedai, and spent her initial years after being raised learning the ways of her new family.  Lyssa trained as hard with her weaves as she was unable to do with her body, and learned as much as she could about combat and protection as she could.
